Ze Hao building things and figuring life out slowly

I build, learn, travel, get slightly lost, and somehow turn that into experience. Welcome to my portfolio, where the vibes are futuristic and the story is real.

Portrait of Ze Hao

I’m Ze Hao, a Computer Science student who enjoys learning by doing, especially when it involves building things, figuring out how systems work, and occasionally questioning my life choices right before a deadline.

Outside of tech, I’m into badminton and basketball. They keep me moving, competitive, and humble, because there is always someone faster, stronger, or suspiciously accurate from three-point range.

Exchange Program

Saxion University of Applied Sciences, Netherlands

Spent a semester abroad exploring game development, learning with tools and languages like Unity and C++, and discovering that maps become much more interesting when you are the one being lost.

Exchange Experience

Five months abroad

Netherlands

I went to the Netherlands for about five months as an exchange student, studying game development with C++ and Unity. I expected a smooth global-student adventure. Reality delivered a slightly more chaotic version, which honestly made it better.

Got lost multiple times, but in an educational way.
Tried new food. Some were amazing. Some were character building.
Learned to adapt fast, communicate better, and say “it’s fine” with increasing confidence.

Overall, the exchange was a mix of chaos, growth, curiosity, and really good memories. I came back with more perspective, more stories, and a stronger ability to function even when life decides to become a side quest.

I served on the logistics team for a camping event at Starfresh Agro Park, joined by around 150 university students.

My responsibilities included setting up the campsite, organizing the campfire, and helping prepare meals. It taught me that good events do not run on magic. They run on teamwork, planning, and at least one person asking, “Wait, who brought the lighter?”

Through that experience, I gained hands-on skills in collaboration, organization, and event management while learning how to stay useful when everything gets busy at once.
